Early morning game drive in the Lamar Valley where we will likely see many species (grizzly bear, wolves, black bear, moose, bison, elk, mountain goat, coyote, pronghorn, badger, and more). Lunch, Mammoth Hot springs, Calcite Springs, multiple small family friendly hikes throughout the day, many wildlife sightings through out the entire day.

This two day tour is our Best of Yellowstone Lower Tour paired with our Wildlife Safari Northern Loop Tour to make two outstanding days in Yellowstone!
On this two day tour each day will start with an early morning game drive to maximize our odds of seeing grizzly bears, walls, and countless other species in prime wildlife viewing habitats of the park. On this two day tour we will cover majority of Yellowstone to see all of the iconic sites, countless geysers, large waterfalls, hidden hot springs, beautiful vistas, countless wildlife sightings, two historic hotels built in 1891 & 1903, and go to many places that will get us off the beaten path and away from other tourist.
On Day 1 we will start with an early morning game drive by heading towards Yellowstone's famous Lamar Valley. This is the best place in the world to view wolves in the wild and it is the most predator rich area North America. Abundant with grizzly bears, black bears, mountain lions, coyotes, moose, big horn sheep, mountain goat, elk, mule deer, and the largest herd of wild bison in America. All of these species on the landscape interacting with each other means that the the Lamar valley contains the largest concentration of mammals found anywhere in North America. We will surely have countless wildlife sightings on this day! In addition we will walk the boardwalks of Mammoth Hot Springs and take multiple friend friendly hikes to get us off the beaten path to view many hidden gems.
On Day 2 of this tour we will focus more of our attention on Yellowstone's Lower Loop which contains over half of the worlds geysers, famous waterfalls, large bison herds, abundant wildlife, Yellowstone lake, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. We will start the day with an early morning game drive in the Hayden Valley (second best place for animal viewing in YNP). Then explore the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone by hiking along the canyons rim to view its iconic swirling colors and rapids, hike amongst two of the largest waterfalls found anywhere in western North America, walk through the mud volcano, explore the east side of Yellowstone lake looking for bears, bald eagles, and marmots, stop for a restroom break at the historic lake hotel (oldest hotel any national park built in 1891), have lunch at a super secret & secluded picnic area on Yellowstone lake, head towards the west side of the loop to perfectly time and view Old Faithful Geyser the worlds most famous geyser, then hike to some hidden hot springs & lesser known geysers to get away from the crowds, and to wrap up our day we will explore the lower geyser basin via the fountain paint pots trail to view more geothermal activity and the best paint pots in the park!

Important Start Time Information
When you book this tour please disregard the time listed as 7:00am on the booking software. The starting times of our tours change throughout the season based on many factors to maximize the results of your tour. Your guide will reach out to you directly with a starting time that makes the most sense for your family. Your tour will start anywhere between 5am- 630am depending on time of the year, weather forecasts, pick up location, and recent wildlife sightings. We will only start later time if it is requested by the client but we always recommend the earliest start time possible to have the best tour possible.

Most frequent questions and answers
We cannot guarantee wildlife sightings. While it is likely we will see bears, wolves, and other species. These animals freely roam the park. We cannot guarantee sightings bit we will try our best to get you the most sightings possible based on recent activity and seasonality of wildlife movements in Yellowstone.
Yes, our tours are 100% private and customized to your desires. It will be just your family and friends for the entire day.
Each tour comes with a provided deli style lunch from a local bakery that makes all of their breads from scratch. You will get to choose from turkey, roast beef, ham, or vegetarian sandwich with mustard and mayo on the side. All sandwiches come with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Your lunch will come with a large selection of chips, an organic apple, and a fresh baked cookie.
Park Entrance Fee is not included in the price of the tour. However, if you have an annual park pass, it will get up 4 adult members of your group into the park. Otherwise, adults are $20/day. Children 15 and under are free. If you have a Senior Pass, are active Military, purchased a National Parks Pass, or are in the 4th Grade you will get yourself and part of the tour group in for free.
The weather in Yellowstone can vary greatly. Spring (May and early June) and Fall (late September and Oct) can everything from beautiful sunny weather mid day with cold mornings to rain and or snow. Summer Mid June – mid September) Expect cold mornings beautiful sunny weather that transitions to HOT by late afternoon, rain is possible.
