  • Visit the best wolf viewing sites on Earth, focusing on Yellowstone’s legendary Northern Range and interior.
  • 2.5 days in the Northern Range, traveling by Mercedes Sprinter van through Lamar Valley and surrounding areas.
  • 3 full days in Yellowstone’s remote winter interior, accessed by a private, exclusive snowcoach, one of only two departing daily from Mammoth Hot Springs.
  • Incredible diversity of winter wildlife, including bighorn sheep, moose, mountain goats, bison, elk, mule deer, red foxes, coyotes, river otters, and more.

Andrea Baratte is a wildlife naturalist, guide, and photographer based in Bozeman, Montana. His experience includes working in Canada on elk and wolf projects and tracking mountain lions across Western Montana. Andrea brings deep field knowledge, ethical wildlife practices, and flexible, guest-focused guiding to every expedition.

Most frequent questions and answers

Snowcoaches operated  in Yellowstone are specially designed, heated vehicles equipped with oversized low-pressure tires, allowing safe and comfortable travel over snow-covered park roads during winter. These snowcoaches provide exclusive access to Yellowstone’s interior.

The sprinter van will seat up to 11 people, the snowcoaches up to 13. With 8 people in our group there will be plenty of space

Each tour comes with a provided deli style lunch from a local bakery that makes all of their breads from scratch. You will get to choose from turkey, roast beef, ham, or vegetarian sandwich with mustard and mayo on the side. All sandwiches come with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Your lunch will come with a large selection of chips, an organic apple, and a fresh baked cookie.

Park Entrance Fee is not included in the price of the tour. However, if you have an annual park pass, it will get up 4 adult members of your group into the park. Otherwise, adults are $20/day.  Children 15 and under are free.  If you have a Senior Pass, are active Military, purchased a National Parks Pass, or are in the 4th Grade you will get yourself and part of the tour group in for free.
